The Carleton Landowners Association (CLA), one of the earliest landowner groups to organize, was formed in July 2005. The CLA represents the geographic area formerly known as Carleton County, Ontario.

Our Mission: The mission of the CLA is to promote and defend the property rights of the residents of Ottawa and Carleton County.

Our Vision Statements:

• The CLA will be the organization of choice for guidance and support when property rights in Ottawa/Carleton are challenged.
• The CLA will ensure that the residents of Ottawa/Carleton are superbly educated with respect to property rights.
• The CLA will be an effective voice at all political levels in support of the property rights of all residents of Ottawa/Carleton.
